The self-defense classes include learning karate, punches, kicks, blocks and easy self-defense moves in a structured fun way. We teach the students focus and discipline during the classes. We work on how to defend against different attacks, like grabs, chokes, shoving and punches. More importantly, we talk about how not to get into a bad situation. It is our goal to teach the students to be confident and strong.
Champions karate school children and women self-defense classes teach to daycares, preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, boys and girls scout clubs and parks and recreation programs. Karate instructors will travel to teach children and women self-defense classes in Cromwell, Middletown, Rocky Hill, Portland, Berlin, East Berlin, Wethersfield, Newington, East Hampton, Haddam, and East Haddam. Classes can be scheduled during the school day for the individual classrooms or as a school assembly, or as an evening event for the kids or the whole family.
Anti Bully Classes include the self-defense classes, plus knowledge of how to deal with bullies. The class uses visuals aids to help demonstrate the effects bullying can cause on their victims. The classes teach the students what a bully is, how to deal with bullies, as well as how to help someone who is being bullied. It is important to teach the students skills and strategies to empower them and build their confidence.
Teaching children self defense is empowering. It helps them to build their confidence and gives them the tools to stand up for them.
